Boykin
Spaniel Foundation license plate to go on sale to South Carolina residents as
early as August!!
The South Carolina Department of Motor
Vehicles has approved the Boykin Spaniel Foundation (BSF) license tag and is
expecting to offer it for sale at the local SCDMV offices as early as August.
The initial 100 numbers reserved for the Boykin Spaniel Society have been
issued so interested persons should now go direct to the SCDMV, and not contact
the BSS office. This project was funded through donations to the BSF
specifically earmarked for the license tag project. The image of the Boykin on
the tag is an original portrait by Robert Hickman created specifically for the
BSF tag project.
If you are interested in taking a
Boykin Spaniel with you whenever you travel in your car or truck then plan to
get this specialized tag right away. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of
each tag will go directly to the Boykin Spaniel Foundation as the BSF seeks to
reduce inherited diseases in the Boykin Spaniel.
